Sculptor extraordinaire! Come join Felex Velez, an accomplished sculptor with a lot to teach any one at any level!

Felex was born on the island of Puerto Rico and at the age of 16, he began creating wire sculptures and selling them on the beaches to the American tourists. When he turned 20, he moved to the United States. Today, this self-taught artist with over 25 year's of experience, is internationally known for his life size bronze sculptures which can be found in public buildings, hotels and private collections around the world.

Felix works with a variety of materials, such as wood, wire, modeling clay, his favorite is bronze. In fact, he is one of the few sculptors who once owned his own bronze foundry.

Felix's passion for life is seen in his designs. When you look at his artwork, you can see the bronze come to life. To this he says, "I give God all the credit for my talent."

Felix will be teaching this Spring at the Fine Arts League of the Carolinas beginning in January. Sign up now...space is limited!
